A clear choice—not a hidden switch.
Necessary storage keeps the service working. Optional advertising and measurement technologies remain blocked by the plugin until accepted.

Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, SDKs, and device identifiers. They can remember a session, preserve settings, protect forms, measure use, or support advertising.
2. Categories used
3. Your choices
Choose “Accept optional cookies” to permit optional advertising and measurement technologies configured through the plugin, or “Use necessary only” to keep them blocked. Reopen the panel at any time using “Cookie choices” in the footer. A changed choice applies going forward and may reload the page. You can also delete or block cookies in browser settings, although login and other requested features may stop working.
4. Google consent requirements
For visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google requires publishers using its advertising products to use a Google-certified consent-management platform supporting the applicable IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. The site administrator must configure that separate Google-certified message in AdSense. The My Trade Shelf banner provides a site-level choice and blocks plugin ad code, but does not itself generate an IAB consent string.
5. Third parties and duration
Third-party durations and purposes are controlled by their providers and may change. Google describes advertising and cookie practices at How Google uses cookies. The My Trade Shelf choice cookie is designed to last approximately 180 days, after which the service may ask again. Consent may also be requested again after a material policy or vendor change.
