Shelf of Chance terms

Terms version 2026-10-29-v1. Each drawing also has official rules on its own page. Those rules identify the sponsor, prize and approximate retail value, dates in the site timezone, slot limits, entry handling, winner contact period, eligibility and fulfillment arrangements.

No purchase necessary

Membership, entry and prize claiming are free. No purchase, donation, paid token, referral, social share, marketing consent or attendance is required. A purchase does not improve the chance of winning. The sponsor covers fulfillment costs stated in the official rules. Only free email-verified members who satisfy the drawing’s eligibility rules may enter. Default eligibility is legal residents of the 50 U.S. states and District of Columbia, age 18+, excluding the sponsor, administrators and their households. Void where prohibited.

Slots, odds and the result

Each confirmed slot has equal weight. A member may request up to the same published per-member limit. Winning odds are the member’s confirmed slots divided by all confirmed slots at closing. Unclaimed capacity is not an entry. Pending eligibility-review requests cannot win until approved before closing. Duplicate accounts, false attestations and abuse may be declined or revoked before closing, with a recorded reason and service notice. Decisions must not favor purchasers.

The server commits a secret seed before entry and locks the published rules. At or after closing, the confirmed ticket manifest is frozen and a deterministic, unbiased mapping selects a ticket using that committed seed. The wheel is a presentation of the server result, not a user-controlled selector. A proof file reveals the seed and pseudonymous manifest after the result. This verifies consistency with the commitment; it is not an independent audit of the sponsor’s original seed generation. Completed results cannot be rerun, edited or cancelled through this module.

Administration and fulfillment

Entry closes at the published time even if processing occurs later. WordPress scheduled tasks depend on site traffic/server scheduling; results and emails can be delayed. Watching the wheel is unnecessary to win. The sponsor may cancel before closing for the published technical, eligibility or prize-availability reasons, with a public explanation and participant notices. Drawings with no confirmed entries close without a winner. Unclaimed prizes remain unawarded; this version does not provide a redraw. Prize claims are arranged privately with the sponsor within the published contact period. Never pay a fee to claim a prize.

Community and privacy

Use a public alias and keep messages relevant to the prize and drawing. The owner moderates messages and may hide abuse or personal information. Member identity, account email and fulfillment details remain private to administration. Read the drawing privacy notice before entering. Nothing here changes the existing jewelry checkout status or private Memorial Chamber process.
