0.15.0 — Memorial Chambers, private custom requests and approved ashes collection

  • Added up to three optional Memorial Chamber configurations per cataloged piece in the front-end Memorial Studio: enabled/disabled, name, material, add-on estimate or quote-only pricing, and public construction notes. Solid brass is the suggested material; existing pieces remain opted out until configured.
  • Added branded learning pages for Memorial Chambers, collection/delivery and care/privacy/questions. Eligible catalog/product/discovery/cart/fitting contexts surface the option, with site navigation, collection invitations and an eligible-pieces gallery. Standard cart behavior remains; choosing a chamber opens a custom request instead of silently treating it as an ordinary cart item.
  • Customers may request mail-in or in-person handoff. Private requests capture contact preferences, authority and wait-for-approval acknowledgements. Studio-approved quotes specify price, tax, collection/shipping charge, amount, destination or appointment, timing, filling instructions, separate payment terms and return of all unused ashes. The customer separately authorizes the exact plan before collection.
  • Added encrypted private records, non-public request types, device access and recovery codes, owner access checks, nonces, rate limiting, duplicate-submit protection, stale-revision checks, timestamped event history, private collection identification slips, incoming mail tracking, identity-checked receipt, preparation, readiness and documented completion. Cancellation/return-resolution paths require accounting for ashes.
  • USPS guidance links current official instructions, including domestic Priority Mail Express and BOX-CRE requirements for incoming ashes and finished jewelry containing remains. No postage labels or generic flat-shipping promises are generated. Local automated checks and native browser checks passed; 36 responsive page/width combinations fit. No live installation, physical custody, sealing, postal shipment, printer or real payment test occurred. Checkout, automatic email, inventory reservation and legal e-signature verification remain pending.

0.14.2 — Standalone release history linked only from the bottom version credit

  • Version History is now its own public, branded page, independent of Jewelry Studio. The current version credit at the very bottom of site pages is its sole navigation entry.
  • Removed history links from the plugin row, admin menu, owner studio, inventory manager and Promotion Studio. Previous history URLs still open the standalone page. Dates, release times, Jeremy Abram author credit and safe contextual back navigation remain.
  • Targeted local WordPress checks verify the standalone route, public access, footer links, removed duplicate navigation and preserved return context. Inventory and fitting workflows are unchanged.

0.14.1 — Dated release history, contextual return and author credit

  • Version History updates with the installed plugin and displays release dates, times and timezone for new releases. Older dates are preserved; missing historical times are explicitly marked as not recorded.
  • Back to where you came from returns to the originating same-site page, with Jewelry Studio as a safe fallback. External destinations and history loops are rejected.
  • Jeremy Abram is credited in the WordPress plugin Author header and on Version History. Targeted local WordPress checks cover history metadata, rendering and return validation. Other plugin features are unchanged.

0.14.0 — See It On Me branding, reusable discovery QR campaigns and relevant books

October 28, 2026 — release time not recorded

  • Established See It On Me by Designs By J as the signature virtual jewelry studio, with a pendant/mirror emblem, wordmark and Your photo. Your jewelry. Your look. tagline. Storefront invitations/navigation, collections, product/cart/About/Shows pages, fitting/model chooser, phone sender, guides, public shares, discovery pages and owner promotion studio carry the feature identity. Original collection art, models and photo workflows remain.
  • Added permanent public QR campaigns: Today’s Discovery selects an eligible piece for the site-local day and avoids the three most recent picks when enough inventory exists; Surprise Me selects randomly per visit with an another-piece action; Owner’s Spotlight pins an eligible item. Any shelf or selected shelves/children can supply candidates. Published, in-stock, fitting-ready pieces qualify; empty, paused and unavailable pinned links have useful fallbacks.
  • Added front-end Promotion Studio settings, owner/nonce/revision protections, up to twenty reusable campaigns, active/pause, editable copy, saved public preview and 1–100 business-card PDF export. Cards are exact 3.5x2 inches, ten per Letter sheet with cut marks. Printed QR links remain stable when shelves/mode/copy change; shared discovery links pin their featured product. Referral codes are included where available. No discounts or rewards are automatically issued.
  • Added contextual companion jewelry and forthcoming book recommendations, including Industrial Beauty: Finding Art in Forgotten Materials and The Material Connection: Copper, Metals, Stones, and the Meaning We Give Them. Books have useful internal landing/return pages and honest Amazon-link-coming-soon status. Owner can edit book copy, set valid Amazon HTTPS links or disable recommendations. Relevant articles receive invitations; unrelated articles do not.
  • Local checks passed for daily/history/stock/shelf/spotlight behavior, owner permissions and atomic validation, safe book links/returns, privacy/sharing, retained models and phone handoff. Native browser downloads validated ten and eleven-card PDFs; every rendered QR module in the ten-card sheet matched an independent encoder. Twenty-eight responsive page/width combinations passed. Live deployment, external social crawlers, physical scanning/printers, real Amazon purchase links, payments/USPS and reward redemption remain pending or unverified.

0.13.3 — A diverse fictional studio-model suite and visual chooser

October 28, 2026 — release time not recorded

  • Expanded the optional studio models from one to six, preserving the original Signature portrait. Five new fictional adults provide feminine, masculine and androgynous presentation; light, medium and deep complexions; adult and mature looks; and Black, East Asian, South Asian, Latino and white creation briefs. All are labeled AI-created demonstrations.
  • Added a visual chooser with presentation, skin-tone and style-genre filters, counts, a no-match message and reset. Classic/Signature, Bohemian, Minimalist, Classic Silver, Alternative and Industrial looks are available. Filters affect models only; every piece remains available on every model.
  • Each portrait has separate authored neck endpoints, pendant rest and ear-hook guides. Selection loads the existing fitting renderer with those defaults and the selected item; a quick model switcher sits beside the preview. Personal/saved/phone photo changes clear the active model controls, and model selection resets private-save/public-share consent boxes.
  • All model imagery is bundled locally with lightweight thumbnails. No customer image is used to generate a model, no runtime AI call is added, and no race/gender classification of visitors occurs. Choosing a model does not save or publish a customer photo.
  • 26 targeted local checks passed for model data, dimensions, valid distinct placements, guest access, disclosure, security policy and preserved phone code. Native browser checks covered pendants and earring pairs on all six models, filters/empty/reset, quick switching, consent reset and personal-photo return. Responsive expanded chooser checks passed at 320, 390, 768 and 1200 pixels. Live installation and physical phone behavior remain unverified.

0.13.2 — Private phone-camera and gallery handoff into the desktop viewing booth

October 28, 2026 — release time not recorded

  • Added Connect phone to this desktop to every viewing booth, including the generic booth without a selected item. A private QR/link opens a dedicated phone sender with Take a photo and Choose from gallery, local photo preview, explicit transfer consent and upload progress. No membership is required.
  • The desktop reports waiting, phone connected, received and completed states, shows an arrival thumbnail, and automatically loads the received headshot into its existing fitting. Check now and Close connection are available. If the desktop photo changed while waiting, an explicit Use received phone photo action protects that work.
  • This is a separate short-lived handoff, not the existing public item QR or owner inventory upload protocol. Separate random credentials protect sending and desktop receipt; the phone credential cannot retrieve the image. One photo per link, ten-minute expiry, HTTPS, metadata-stripping JPEG preparation and encrypted temporary storage are enforced.
  • Desktop acknowledgement or closing removes the encrypted transfer payload. Expiry denies access immediately and scheduled cleanup removes the record; hosting backups follow normal rotation. A phone transfer does not create inventory, a Media Library attachment, a saved member look or a public share. Repeated status checks can omit the already-received photo.
  • 39 targeted local WordPress assertions passed for guest flows, consent, credential separation, image validation, encryption, metadata removal, replay prevention, acknowledgement, close, expiry and limits. Native browser tests passed camera/gallery chooser paths, automatic arrival/completion, protected manual replacement and saved-look loading. Desktop and sender layouts were checked at four widths. Actual phone capture, printed scanning and production deployment remain unverified.

0.13.1 — Connected booth navigation and contextual learning

October 28, 2026 — release time not recorded

  • Added the Designs By J branded header/navigation, a site/shop breadcrumb, selected-item return link, entry collection link and styled footer to the standalone viewing booth. Shop, cart, About Jeremy and Shows destinations remain available. A configured WordPress privacy policy is linked when available.
  • Site and item links open separately to keep the unsaved fitting tab intact. The current Show It On Me navigation stays in the booth. Selected-item return and guide destinations update when jewelry selection changes.
  • Added contextual Photo and phone tips, private looks, placement and scale, sharing/privacy and referral guidance. Help opens in an accessible dialog with a persistent return button; closing restores focus to the control that opened it and keeps the photo/fitting. Escape also closes the dialog.
  • A standalone guide provides the same information and returns to the selected published piece and relevant booth section. Its return URL is constructed from validated item/referral fields, not an arbitrary supplied destination. Direct guide visitors are reminded to keep an original unsaved fitting tab open.
  • 19 targeted local WordPress/HTTP assertions passed. Native browser checks covered opening/closing help with a loaded photo, return focus, jewelry-selection context and responsive navigation at 320, 390, 768 and 1200 pixels. Photo-page security policy is retained; upload/editor/payment logic was not changed or broadly retested. Live installation and physical device checks remain pending.

0.13.0 — A personal viewing booth, private saved looks and consent-based sharing

October 28, 2026 — release time not recorded

  • Styled See it on me with a human studio portrait, collection colors and a clear photo/jewelry/preview flow. The optional demonstration model is fictional AI artwork. Portrait and landscape photos fit their frame without inner scrolling; touch screens can scroll normally unless Move jewelry is enabled.
  • Registered members can separately opt in to save up to eight private headshots, name hairstyles, set reusable neck/pendant/ear positions and remove their saved looks. Private photos are re-encoded to strip original metadata and encrypted in the database; access requires the owning account. HTTPS and server image/encryption support are required.
  • Personalized jewelry thumbnails render locally from the selected photo and placement points. Clicking a thumbnail replaces the current fitting; Add to photo and companion actions still layer jewelry. Positions and scale remain manually adjustable estimates, not automatic body measurements.
  • A separate unchecked consent creates a public 1200x630 composite preview for seven days, with revocation and Open Graph/Twitter metadata. Original private headshots are not exposed. Sharing offers Facebook, WhatsApp, native apps or a copied link; external downloads and social caches may remain after expiry.
  • Referral links carry through fitting, item QR invitations, print promos and preview-cart navigation. New email-verified memberships are recorded once for owner review. Rewards, tokens, discounts and checkout redemption remain pending; no monetary benefit is awarded.
  • Local WordPress suites passed 42 access/privacy/referral assertions and nine quota/navigation checks. Native browser tests covered saved-look persistence, fit points, personalized thumbnails, full-layer replacement, consented sharing, photo aspect ratios and four responsive widths. A 4x6 PDF download was rendered and its referral link verified. Physical phones, production host support and external social preview delivery remain unverified.

0.12.0 — Label-inspired collection themes and responsive storefront presentation

October 28, 2026 — release time not recorded

  • Added a Signature plum/gold/cream storefront style, an aqua/sand Down by the Ocean Sea Glass style, and a forest/pink/gold Maine Tourmaline style, guided by the supplied print-label designs. New decorative collection artwork is bundled locally in responsive WebP sizes and labeled separately from product photography.
  • Collection listing pages, direct collection archives, product pages, shelf headers and selected-item fitting controls now share collection colors. The main shop introduces the collections; cart, About and Shows use the common Signature presentation. Real product photos remain prominent and use uncropped presentation in catalog cards.
  • Owner Studio now links to Collection Appearance: assign a theme to a shelf, inherit an ancestor theme, override automatic name matching, and edit collection headings/intros and the main shop message. Automatic styles recognize Sea Glass/Seaglass/Down by the Ocean and Tourmaline names without renaming or migrating inventory.
  • Added an owner responsive preview of the real collection, example product, cart, About and Shows pages at 320, 390, 768 and 1200 pixels, with visible width/overflow checks. Native local-browser checks covered 36 page/width combinations, theme changes in fitting, collection search, direct archives, owner saving, and the preserved preview-cart action.
  • 18 targeted WordPress assertions and 15 HTTP checks passed for inheritance, permissions, validation, appearance save/reset, unchanged product metadata and retained fitting/QR destinations. PHP/JavaScript syntax and ZIP hashes were verified. Physical phones, production host/cache integrations, custom background uploads and licensing infrastructure remain unverified or pending. Printed promo templates and original PDFs are unchanged.

0.11.0 — Owner Inventory Manager with reviewed bulk changes and recoverable Trash

October 27, 2026 — release time not recorded

  • Added a dedicated owner Inventory Manager linked from Jewelry Studio, its inventory list, and the Designs By J WordPress admin menu. Item checkboxes support selection across pages/filters, page selection, matching-item selection, selected-item review and CSV export. Shelf links retain their category context.
  • Search, publication, category, quantity and fitting filters support active inventory and Trash. Bulk edits include publication status; set/add/subtract/percentage prices; set/add/subtract stock; add/replace/remove/clear categories and colors; materials, dimensions and ounce weight; title prefix/suffix; description replace/append/prepend/clear; and pausing virtual fitting without removing cutouts.
  • Server previews show item-by-item original and resulting values. Owner-scoped saved batches execute five items per request, allow pause/resume/stop, detect stale previews and report completed, partial, skipped and failed outcomes. Reports and the last five batch records support review and recovery.
  • Bulk deletion uses recoverable WordPress Trash and refuses deletion when Trash is disabled. Restore previews each prior publication status. One-hour Undo restores completed changes while skipping items whose affected fields changed afterward. Photos and fitting assets are retained; fitting Undo refreshes editor revisions.
  • Local WordPress targeted suites passed 84 assertions covering permissions, filters, adjustment modes, conflicts, resumable writes, interrupted Undo, partial-save handling, expiry, Trash/Restore, CSV protection and media preservation. Native browser checks covered cross-page selection, review/apply/Undo, Trash/Restore, CSV and report downloads. Host-scale performance, production integrations, physical devices and a separate licensing/white-label system remain unverified or pending.

0.10.1 — Take-home business card sheets alongside reusable show displays

October 27, 2026 — release time not recorded

  • Added a separate take-home business card PDF format: exact 3.5x2-inch cards, two columns by five rows on US Letter with cut marks. Cards say Take me home. Scan & try it on virtually., with the featured item name, product photo and public item QR.
  • Owner print workspace distinguishes reusable 4x6 show displays from take-home cards, previews the selected format, and includes a 10-copies shortcut. Mixed items, copies, extra pages and partial sheets retain their item-specific destinations.
  • Preserved both 4x6 PDF formats and the existing camera-first item links. Local native-browser downloads tested ten cards, eleven cards across two pages, mixed item destinations and both 4x6 formats. PDF dimensions, links and every rendered business-card QR module were checked; layouts were visually inspected.
  • Use plain cardstock, print Actual Size and cut to marks. Brand-specific pre-cut card stock alignment, actual printer alignment and physical phone scans remain unverified. Customer photo handling, upload flows and live site installation are unchanged.

0.10.0 — Item QR fitting invitations and printable show promos

October 27, 2026 — release time not recorded

  • Published fitting-ready pieces have a Mobile QR action and stable public item links. Scanning opens that item in camera-first fitting; the visitor taps Take my photo and the approved jewelry is placed after capture or photo choice.
  • Jewelry Studio includes Show QR and 4x6 promos, item selection, copies, preview and locally generated PDF downloads: exact 4x6 pages or two 4x6 cards per US Letter sheet with cut marks. Product photos, names, invitation text and vector QR are included. Print at Actual Size.
  • Public show links are separate from private upload sessions and check publication/readiness on each visit. Promo printing requires owner access and published, approved fitting assets. Customer fitting photos stay on their device.
  • Tested local WordPress redirects, invalid/private access, approval gating, native browser photo chooser and automatic selected-piece placement, actual PDF downloads, page sizes, link annotations, rendered layout and every rendered QR module against an independent encoder. Physical phone camera and printed QR scans remain unverified; no automatic camera permission, face tracking, live payments or referral rewards are added.

0.9.0 — Approved precise cutouts, bail-anchored chains and separate earring pairs

October 26, 2026 — release time not recorded

  • Owner fitting setup supports tight rectangle cropping, point-by-point outlines, connected or all-region color cleanup, erase/restore with transparency strength, zoom, Undo and light/dark/skin previews. Cutout saves trim empty margins and preserve the attachment point.
  • Each item stores actual cutout dimensions, pendant/earring type, bail/hook anchors, optional separate right-side asset and dimensions, chain/cord style, metal color, thickness and reference length, plus shadow strength.
  • Custom fitting requires explicit owner approval of transparent, nonempty, tightly trimmed assets. Updated or removed cutouts and inactive setup saves deactivate fitting. Existing products/photos stay visible and intact; old cutouts need measurement/setup approval.
  • Pendant rendering uses the bail as its pivot and keeps a simulated chain connected while moving/rotating. Customers can drag neck endpoints, adjust a neck reference, size and shadow, and zoom the private preview. Earrings support mirrored, same-image or separately prepared pairs with independent placement.
  • Native local-browser checks covered source crop/transparency/anchor/save/approval, asymmetric pair preparation, endpoint dragging, rotation, independent earring positions, real composite PNG downloads and cart continuity. Rendering is a visual approximation; real jewelry realism, physical devices and occlusion/face tracking are not claimed complete.

0.8.0 — Inventory-led fitting, item overlays, membership and cart suggestions

October 26, 2026 — release time not recorded

  • Published jewelry with existing product photos appears automatically in fitting; a separate prepared cutout is optional and preferred when present. Simple uniform backgrounds receive conservative browser cleanup. Drafts remain private.
  • Every public shop card has a prominent See it on me image overlay, and each product detail page has a direct fitting action. The selected piece is retained and automatically placed after the visitor chooses their own photo.
  • Fitting includes prices, stock-aware preview-cart actions and additional available pieces, prioritizing the same collection. Try with this adds another piece to the existing photo.
  • Email-verified membership creates a subscriber account only after private-link confirmation. Expiring single-use links, replacement revocation, rate limits and fresh nonces support sign-in without losing an open fitting. Customer photos remain on-device.
  • Tested locally with WordPress, native browser fitting/cart/add-on flows and captured test email verification. Production inbox delivery, physical phones, complex-photo realism, live checkout and public sharing remain unverified or pending.

0.7.0 — Show It On Me — private photo fitting first release

October 26, 2026 — release time not recorded

  • Customers choose a local photo or camera image, select prepared jewelry, and move, resize or rotate multiple pieces. Pair copies can be positioned separately. Private PNG downloads are composed in the browser; customer photos are not sent to WordPress.
  • Front-end Virtual Fitting Studio prepares a separate product PNG from main/angle photos or a supplied source. Connected-background removal, erase/restore brushes, Undo/reset, light/dark preview and transparent-margin trimming leave listing originals intact.
  • Only prepared published pieces appear in the public fitting room. Shop and prepared product pages link to Show It On Me; owner inventory links to preparation. Existing upload queues, categories, QR transfer, main/angle editing and Delete/Undo are retained.
  • This implements the selected on-device/manual-positioning first stage. Email guest registration, saved fitting accounts, consent-based hosted photo sharing, Facebook/Messenger previews, referral rewards, live face tracking and accurate physical sizing are pending. Commerce remains a preview.

0.6.2 — Visible transfer progress, completion and live desktop thumbnails

October 26, 2026 — release time not recorded

  • Phone queues announce the expected batch and confirm completion only after WordPress acknowledges every receipt. Failed batches show saved counts and retry guidance.
  • Desktop connection and shelf views poll automatically, show saved-photo thumbnails and edit links, and distinguish waiting, receiving, completed and partial batches. Connection errors are visible and retry automatically.
  • Shelf inventory refreshes in place as photos arrive; returning to the shelf resumes monitoring. Main and angle upload modes keep their existing destinations and editing controls.
  • Targeted local WordPress and browser transfer checks only; physical phone camera, QR scanning and production hosting remain pending.

0.6.1 — One reliable shelf phone/QR action

October 26, 2026 — release time not recorded

  • Shelf pages have one shared Use phone / QR button instead of duplicate batch picker buttons. The optional single-item form is collapsed by default.
  • The button uses a native authenticated form and a standalone connection page, avoiding dependence on the shelf JavaScript click handler. A copyable phone link is rendered by PHP even if QR JavaScript fails.
  • Connection page keeps destination, live draft links, expiry and a native Close action. Desktop batch uploads no longer inject an extra unsolicited QR panel.
  • Only the shelf phone path, syntax and archive integrity were checked for this patch; the full plugin suite was intentionally not rerun.

0.6.0 — Shared photo editor, angle deletion/Undo and phone options beside every chooser

October 26, 2026 — release time not recorded

  • Main and angle cards use the same front-end editor: drag crop, center-square crop, rotate, flip, brightness, contrast and reset. Edits save as new JPEG copies while retaining original files.
  • Angle cards now include Delete angle and Undo. Removal affects only that listing; originals/shared media are retained. Stale editors and selected-angle phone links cannot restore a deleted angle.
  • Every front-end desktop file chooser now has a phone/QR shortcut: batch gallery/camera, main photo, angle photos and angle camera. Individual cards and the editor can replace a selected image through a phone.
  • Phone upload modes distinguish batch creation, main replacement, angle addition and single-angle replacement. Unsaved manual listings save a draft and connect in the correct mode.
  • Live photo refresh retains editor/delete controls. Native-browser checks verified canvas editing/saving, Delete/Undo, upload shortcuts and two-photo batch creation. Physical-device scanning/pickers remain pending.

0.5.0 — Photo-first batch listings, categories and distinct main/angle uploads

October 26, 2026 — release time not recorded

  • Studio and phone batch uploads create one separate draft listing per selected photo, with that photo as its main image. Choose a category/shelf before uploading; no item page is required.
  • Create, rename and nest categories/shelves from the studio. Existing collections are reused; inventory can be filtered by shelf, including drafts and child categories.
  • Existing listing pages now separate Set/Replace main photo from Add angle photos. Phone links explicitly choose main-photo replacement or angle addition and never create new listings.
  • Shared mobile/desktop progress, optional JPEG optimization, retry receipts and draft edit links. Batch retries avoid duplicate listings; intentionally selecting identical photos separately still creates separate listings.
  • Previous products, photos, categories, storefront and preview cart retained. Existing pre-0.5 transfer links expire on upgrade; generate fresh links. See test report for device/hosting limits.

0.4.1 — Visible phone upload and QR entry on the main studio page

October 26, 2026 — release time not recorded

  • The main studio now has Upload from phone — create QR code, even before a piece has been saved.
  • That action saves entered fields/photos as a draft, supplies a temporary name when blank, and redirects to the saved piece with QR creation started automatically. It never publishes a piece.
  • Added a prominent Phone uploads / QR link, installed version in the studio header, and a no-JavaScript direct-upload fallback.
  • Existing-piece QR creation, private links, retries, expiry, revocation and version history remain. See TEST-REPORT.md for executed checks and live-site/device limits.

0.4.0 — Phone to desktop photo transfer

Release date and time not recorded

  • Local QR code and expiring upload link tied to one saved piece. No external QR service or script.
  • Phone camera/gallery queue, previews, per-file progress, optional image optimization, retry and duplicate protection. Phone administrator login is not required: the link grants photo upload access to one piece only.
  • Desktop gallery updates, session restore after refresh, fixed 20-minute expiry, and Close transfer. Existing studio, catalog, galleries and preview cart retained.
  • Linked Version History in the plugin row, plugin menu and front-end studio. All future distributed changes require an increased release number.
  • See bundled TEST-REPORT.md for executed checks and device/hosting limits. Checkout remains disabled.

0.3.0 — Two different packages used this number

Release date and time not recorded

  • Work release (32,983 bytes): front-end owner login, photo error reporting, draft-on-error, public gallery, paginated inventory and catalog preservation.
  • Browser release (15,376 bytes): alternate studio with initial transfer code, an external QR dependency and phone WordPress login. Inspected as upgrade input; its transfer implementation is replaced in 0.4.0.
  • Reusing this version number created ambiguity. Future releases increase the version and record changes here.

Release date and time not recorded

  • Original 11,264-byte owner build added a front-end product form/list and basic multi-photo uploads.
  • A separate 25,320-byte catalog milestone added dashboard navigation, galleries and storefront improvements. Both branches were combined in the Work 0.3.0 release.

0.1.0 — Commerce foundation

Release date and time not recorded

  • Original 7,350-byte foundation: jewelry fields, collections/colors, public catalog, preview cart and store settings. Checkout disabled.
